As the menswear collection come to an end, I must admit I am in love. I'm so happy to see the trend of male gladiators. I bought a pair of brown leather ones in Spain from H&M. I love them!!! Cannot wait until many more companies make them. Also I love the new relaxed fit and feel. It is modern comfort. But please do not get it confused with a slouchy look. Hope to try some of these looks maybe this summer and fall!

Resort 2011
Okay so my friend, Hannah, took most of the photos when we went to New York. So I have next to none. Actually zero! Hence , until she gives me pictures I can't really explain how intense the trip was. But before I left I did collect some pictures of the resort collections. Though I see Resort as more of a commercial collection, there were two designers who were brilliant. Stella McCartney and Lanvin could do no wrong, lately. The presentations were romantic and fun as should a Resort collection be. Stay posted until I can get my New York pictures. (Gosh, Hannah!)

Beach Trip
Myrtle Beach is a place that I will not be visiting again any time soon. It was okay just not that fun. Thank goodness for our trip to some outlets. We stalked outside the doors until J. Crew opened. And trust me, we scored some major deals. I really hope that my New York trip will be better, but here are some pictures just because I was bored.

Movie Marathon
The beach vacation is eventful to say the least. I will have pictures later!
Emily and I have lots of time at night. Our grandparents don't like to go out, so we have been watching movies. Today we watched The Holiday, It's Complicated, and Something's Gotta Give. After watching some movies, we figured out that all are directed by Nancy Meyers. I personally love her because of the depictions of older people falling in love. Also the fact that the settings and costumes are so classy. She puts together a movie that is timeless but also modern in its subject matter. So my sister and I applaud you, for great movies that entertain us on vacation and once we get home.

Mamma Mia!
Emily and I, lately, were thinking about how we could interpret famous design house looks into ours. So for Dolce and Gabbana, we created this outfit which consists of a little romper and heels. The look is wearable but also approachable. Also from their Fall 2010 show there was gold everywhere, so I decided to apply the jewelry heavily. Take in the greatness that is Italian design.

Summer is Upon Us!
My best friend ever, Nicole, wore this adorable outfit today. It was fresh, springy, and perfectly coordinated. She wore these cute floral brogues from Urban Outfitters. The peach and light browns are soft, welcoming and say "Hey Summer, I'm Ready!"

Plans for the Summer
Above: Collage of recent inspiration. A sailor stripe tee from J. Crew, a Hunter boot in yellow, gingham Madewell blazer, Urban Outfitters pumps and shell coin case, Pier 1 sand ruffle pillow, Jason Wu Resort 2011 look, and Micheal Bastian Spring 2010 look.
So I'm going to Myrtle Beach and New York City right after school gets out. I literally mean the first two weeks of summer vacation. My plan for these vacations include lots of shopping and lots of going out. My wardrobe will hopefully consist of marine quality clothes. Everything I will wear will consist of patterns such as sailor stripes with pops of bold color. I am so excited for these vacation. Let me tell you I really need them.
Also, I hope to take lots of photos this summer and blog more regularly. So get ready for a great summer.
