9 'til 5

Outfit: Calvin Klein Jacket, American Eagle Shirt, Vintage Pin and Men's Top Hat
I promise I have more outfits coming. For now, I have this picture from months ago when my sister's hair was long. It is a outfit that is part Yves Saint Laurent and La Roux inspired. I'm off to a summer wedding. We bought the most gorgeous silk, calf length dress for it. Hope you are having a great weekend!

I Dream of Genie

Yes, this outfit is inspired by the 1960's. Yes, she is wearing a vintage blouse from that decade. Yes, my sister was hot wearing black pants and gray shirt in 90 degree weather. But beside the point..... I got some great photos. I found the blouse for a dollar!! I love the look and can't wait to go back that thrift shop. Everybody loves a romantic dress but, I Love "Blousy".

Comfort Collage

Lately I have just wanted to go to a small, homely town. My friend recently went to Seattle to see her sister and loved it. So I thought it would be the perfect setting for my recent thoughts and inspirations.I love Seattle's earthy, cozy feel. Which is the same feeling that I am trying to achieve lately with my clothes/outlook.

The pumps represent my want for easy and comfortable shoes. Shown are a suede mustard and two tone bow pumps, both which are from Urban Outfitters. The pink top is a great example of my current obsession, the silk blouse. I recently bought two vintage ones for my sister. Coffee and muffins are my new breakfast routine. Carey Mulligan is a new fashion icon in my house. My sister loves her simple outfits. They are modern with their fit and detailing.

These are the things I currently love and what can be achieved with Windows Paint. Hope you have relaxing week, I know I need it.

J.Crew Fall 2010

If you haven't figured out by now, I LOVE J.CREW!! Good to get that off my chest. I must say I adore them even more after seeing their Fall 2010 Presentation. All that texture and rich colors. Not only that but the attention to details. The looks were inspired by girl scout camps.
I personally see this collection almost as my inspiration for the winter season ahead. Wearing wool coats, cut in weird ways, with intense warm colored sweaters. Also I cannot wait until I get some knit socks for my sister to wear. The fall is looking pretty great after seeing this.

Love this guy's look!! The relaxed fit of the jean is perfect with that wool blue sport coat.

Miss Emma Watson

So the trailer for the new Harry Potter came out recently. I must say I grew up loving the books, the movies too. Well the first and second ones. The other movies seem to be underacted and they leave out a lot. Yet I'm super excited for the conclusion of the series. I'm seeing the first part for a friend's birthday.
My greatest obsession comes from Hermione Granger. Emma Watson is beyond gorgeous and smart. She is going to Brown college! Emma is fashionable, unique, and lovely British.

Batgirl

Unfortunately I didn't make it to a music festival yet. But I made up for it by putting my friend in a outfit perfect for it. At first we had a really hard time getting the dress not to look like a curtain. I hoped we succeeded even if she has bat sleeves. The best part is the hat, she has had forever, yet never worn.

Gone Country

Since my mom is from West Virginia, so I have a little country in me. Truthfully I love a good gravy and fried chicken. I recently got a cast iron skillet. But beside the point, I love the look we picked out together. The whole outfit screams working on the farm. Well, if a farm hand wore ankle boots!

Freshen up! Which is exactly what I need too!

I recently have been working extreme hours at my pool as a lifeguard. So whenever I have time to groom and pamper, I go crazy! Recently I have become obsessed with nail color. I buy my sister five bottles of different colors probably each month. Some of this pictures are the things I want for my sister's makeup routine and my daily cologne spritz.

Oh la la!

I took these pictures long ago when Emily had long hair. I love the lady-like cuteness. The pearls, fur bolero, and lacy slip which are all super adorable. I just imagine someone attending a spring Hampton wedding in this outfit. So be dreamy and have to much champagne!
