You got green on your mind, I can see it in your eyes.

Besides being on a posting high, this week has been great. I have gotten so much done. I love having these time to get my favorite past times in. So I have lately been thinking about open air markets. For the fall season, I can't wait to go to farmer's markets and get butternut squash and pumpkins. Oh last year I had apple cider butternut squash soup. SOOOOO Good. In my train of thought I created this outfit. It is beautiful and breezy. Plus comfy chic, always a positive thing. Never have I seen my sister so happy, I think because it is similar to something she would wear out and about.

No one man should have all that power!

So now that I am looking at colleges and that whole ordeal, I really am becoming super interested in rowing crew. It just looks like so much fun yet hard work. Weird combination I know. Since I have always loved a good ivy leaguer, I really think that those are the schools I want to attend. By no manner do I think I could ever get in. But the idea is really enticing. When I went to visit University of Virginia, I saw a male rower and about giggled with excitement. Never have I seen a real one in person. I mean I have always seen videos, such as the link below from The Social Network, and heard about them. So after the sighting I just had to by a Virginia Crew shirt. MY NEW FAVORITE SHIRT. I just can't wait to be in college rowing among other scholarly activities.

I ordered the jerk, you are what you eat.

I could be here all day analyzing the references. But let everyone else do that. I just appreciate the true artistic quality of the "Runaway" music video. It makes me very happy that the directional vision of the mini movie almost redefines hip-hop. No longer are the days of getting money and women. Now, the women are part bird! In seriousness though I was pleasantly surprised and entertained. Even if you don't like Kanye, please acknowledge that he tried to make amends. The video is just a portion of a incredible brain, that is usually misrepresented. below are stills that I think are quite inspirational.

Get out the WAY!!

As fierce as leopard is, my sister is not. Usually when you wear a cat print, your mood is supposed to change. I really wanted to convey a sense of feminine power and sauciness. I mean what doesn't convey manly power but a double breasted blazer. Very Gordon Gecko. But the really female power comes from the leopard stole and red camisole. Meowwwww!

Something Wicked this Way Comes

It is that time of the year again. A time where girls either dress like ladies of the night or well nothing else. So for this Halloween season I am really liking a good Madonna. Circa Blond Ambition Tour. So grab a cone bra and tons of cross necklaces. I love the fabric of velvet for Halloween, it is heavy and mysterious. Paint those nails up right with a deep street walker red(the only thing that should be street walker). Dressing like Madonna surely will be a treat.

I'm Your Venus

Nothing screams Greek and roman influence like a chain link fence. Well maybe the gladiator shoes or the name of the dress, which is "Olympia" by the way. My true intention though is to contradict the lightness of the dress and strength of barb wire.

A Collection of Nothing

Literally what the title says, a collection of nothing. Below are pictures that I have collected and find in a way inspirational. Enjoy, and below is my current favorite! I love everything about it.

Nina Ricci Fall 2010

Two below photos from The Satorialist, they make me almost miss summer.

Gwen Stefani from "Cool" music video

Look at the little girl, it is the cutest picture.

Carey Mulligan, ah.

Matt Bomer, I love this head shot of him. His character on White Collar is brilliantly dressed.

Breezy Afternoon

I, Troy, apologize for the multiple pictures of my backyard. I don't even go out to it that often, except when I want to blog pictures. The white fence makes the lighting horrible and I apologize, again.
I really did not want to break out any vintage or ornate stuff. So I stuck to an outfit of a simple red dress and detailed cardigan that is subtle. A good earthy boot grounds the outfit or any for that matter. I think my sister looks best in simple yet saturated dresses and cardigans. They are very easy, breezy for this autumn air. Finally some wind to cool the air. Ah, sigh of relief.

Outfit: Dress and Necklace from Target, Cardigan from J. Crew, Boots from Charlotte Russe, and nail color is orange from Urban Outfitters.
