Pattern of Life

Recently I went to Ikea and got the greatest pattern pillow. It is a leaf/branch pattern that is black and white. So it got me thinking why can't I add more pattern to my life. All patterns added to a room should coordinate not detach from the attention. Also if you want to add it to your life, counterbalance it with a a complementary color. What a smart lady !

Literally, as we walked into the library, my sister said she felt like she was going to a 1960's church dance. Well sorry sister, but it is just the library. The outfit was inspired by a era of fuller skirts and longer hems. The silhouette is completely from the previous decade but the print is modern. How about that shoe? The gladiator heel is still considered modern. So overall this outfit is a forward thinking look from the dress the cuff.

Jump for Joy

Finally through some convincing from friends, I have started a little blog. I am so excited to do this and I hope you are too. So for my first post, the photo shoot was impromptu before going to a party. My friend Hannah and I choose a outfit that was fun ready. As the pictures and title say this post is about celebrating.
